Vantaa
In 2018, the city of Vantaa in Finland identified in its population forecast that over 500 more children are expected to live in the fast-growing Keimolanmäki area by 2028.
New school and day-care premises were needed on a short schedule and in 2019 Parmaco delivered the new premises suitable for the needs of the growth area.
One- and two-story school and daycare facilities were delivered ready-made to the same plot in a natural environment. The facilities are divided into three parts so that the daycare and school facilities are connected by common dining and exercise facilities. In addition, there are large courtyards and outdoor play areas in the middle of the buildings.
Standard model buildings enabled fast delivery time for the new facilities, but at the same time they also function as a sustainable spatial solution and serve the constantly growing use in the Keimola area.
